To find Sephiria secret rooms, clear the encounter, scan every wall face and its upper border, then attack a cracked or mismatched section several times. An opened passage may not show a connecting line on the map, and the Library Secret Study is a special exception with no visible crack. No verified fixed number of secret rooms per run is available for Sephiria 1.0.

01 Use the clear, scan, compare, test routine

Finish every enemy before searching so explosions, projectiles, and hit sounds do not hide the clue. Walk the full room boundary and inspect the wall face plus the decorative edge along its top. Empty map space beyond a wall can suggest where to look, but it does not prove that a secret room spawned there.

Compare neighboring tiles instead of looking only for a large obvious crack. A broken line, mismatched cap, interrupted stone pattern, or branch texture that stops repeating may be the only clue. When one section looks wrong, stand close and attack that exact area several times.

Listen for different impact feedback and watch for the wall to react or open. One swing may not make the result obvious, and a projectile may even open the route during combat before the player notices. Recheck the suspected edge after the screen is calm rather than attacking every wall indefinitely.

02 Check the upper border from every direction

The clue’s visible position can change with the direction of the hidden room in community examples. When the room lies above, the crack may cross both the wall face and its upper edge. For left, right, or lower passages, the only visible difference may be a broken or mismatched top border.

Floor examples in the collected material show different visual languages. Mole Stronghold uses repeating stone caps, Woodlands uses branch-like wall patterns, Library uses decorative stone borders, Wasteland entrances can be covered by scenery, and Rooted Cave uses irregular lower-edge stones. These are recognition examples, not fixed map coordinates.

Do not memorize a screenshot as a guaranteed room location. Procedural layouts and patches can place the same visual lesson in a different context. Current per-floor clue behavior is Pending confirmation where the source only shows an older community capture.

03 Open the wall even when the map shows no line

Stand close to the suspicious tile and strike it more than once. Some weapons or positions may make the hit sound and visual response harder to notice, so shift slightly along the same edge before rejecting the clue. Stop only after the surrounding pattern looks normal and repeated tests produce no different feedback.

An opened secret room may be added to the map without a connecting passage line. This is why a blank map connection does not mean the wall remained closed. Walk into the opened area and confirm the room itself rather than relying only on the map drawing.

Older official patch references mention fixes to crack behavior, which explains why historical screenshots and discussions may differ from the current client. The reliable method remains visual comparison plus direct testing. Exact hits required for every weapon and patch are Pending confirmation.

04 The Library Secret Study is an exception

The community route places the Secret Study after Mad Scientist Erma. Cross the bridge into the room with the table, then walk into the wall immediately left of the table near the room’s lower-left side. The report says there is no visible crack and no attack is required.

The hidden area remains dark until the player enters and contains a lore interactable in the supplied route. This makes the Secret Study different from a normal cracked-wall reward room. The demonstration was uploaded before Sephiria 1.0, so its current placement and trigger are Pending confirmation.

Do not use the Secret Study exception as a reason to walk into every unmarked wall. Apply it only in the described post-Erma Library room with the table. For ordinary generated rooms, return to the cracked or mismatched pattern test.

05 Pocket Dimension is not a normal secret room

The collected community material describes Pocket Dimension as a separate rare event with its own room and items. It is not opened by attacking a cracked wall, so it should not be counted when estimating normal secret-room spawns or rewards. One uploader encountered it on Floor 1 and considered it random, but that is one observation rather than an official rule.

If pursuing an achievement tied to ordinary hidden rooms, search for the normal breakable-wall route instead. The source specifically separates Pocket Dimension from that process. A verified 1.0 spawn probability, floor table, and full item rule are Pending confirmation.

06 Possible secret-room rewards

Community sources report Dice, random consumables, random Artifacts, Leaves, experience, and the Mystic Pot as possible rewards. Dice reroll reward options, while the Mystic Pot is described as combining up to three deposited Artifacts into one Tablet. These are possible outcomes rather than a guaranteed bundle in every room.

| Possible reward | Collected report | Evidence limit | |---|---|---| | Dice | One or two in an older community table | Current amount pending confirmation | | Consumables | Random potion or other consumable choices | No guaranteed count | | Artifact | Reported as a rarer outcome | No verified percentage | | Leaves | Historical community ranges only | Current amount pending confirmation | | Experience | A small amount | Exact value unknown | | Mystic Pot | Converts deposited Artifacts into one Tablet | Current restrictions pending confirmation |

Judge a reward against the build already working. A high-rarity Artifact can be worse than a compact piece if its footprint destroys Tablet adjacency, and the Mystic Pot trades existing Artifacts for a different inventory tool. Read current item text before depositing anything because the supplied data does not establish every output or recovery rule.

07 How many secret rooms can spawn

No reviewed official patch note in the collected material publishes a guaranteed total, per-floor rate, per-run cap, or spawn probability for Sephiria 1.0. Older observations such as “one or two per run” are too limited and version-dependent to become a rule. The correct answer is therefore Pending confirmation, not a guessed fixed count.

An older community Compendium says Qliphoth’s Temple on Floor 7 had no hidden rooms in the version it documented. Keep that as a historical note rather than proof about the final release. A run with no discovered crack may mean no spawn, a missed clue, or changed generation, and the supplied evidence cannot distinguish those cases automatically.

08 Troubleshoot a wall that will not open

First clear the room and wait for combat effects to stop. Compare the suspected tile with both neighbors, inspect its top edge, stand closer, strike several times, and shift along the same wall section. Then check whether the passage opened without a map line or during an earlier projectile impact.

If the pattern matches every surrounding tile, move on rather than attacking the entire room. If the location is the Library Secret Study, use the special walk-through route instead of looking for a crack. If a post-patch clue still behaves differently, record the floor, room, client version, screenshot, and exact test; the result remains Pending confirmation until reproduced.
